Michaela Strachan

TV Presenter, Event Host, Keynote Speaker, Moderator, Actress, Author

Michaela Strachan was an ever-present face in the 1980s on programmes like Wide Wake Club, Boogie Box, Good Morning Britain and The Hitman and Her. Then in the 90s and beyond, Michaela pivoted into environmental programmes with reporting for Countryfile, the Orangutan Diary, The Great Penguin Rescue, Springwatch, Autumnwatch and The Really Wild Show.

Personally, Michaela has battled breast cancer with a double mastectomy plus reconstructive surgery and anorexia during her youth. And she supports the developing world with Alternative Gifts and World Vision charities. She also dabbled in music and has 2 UK hit singles: ‘Take Good Care of My Heart’ and a ‘H.A.P.P.Y. Radio’ cover.

As a speaker and presenter, Michaela is accomplished, warm and engaging with a natural aptitude for humour. She has a particular passion for wildlife, eco-friendly lifestyles and charitable causes. And she’s regularly picked to host award shows, wildlife festivals, eco-events and natural history conferences.
