Television and Radio news presenter Michelle Martin is a veteran journalist based in Singapore who has worked across both of Singapore’s biggest media networks – Mediacorp and Singapore Media Trust, hosting flagship “live” broadcast shows.

An experienced host and moderator, she has led panel discussions at the invitation of the Milken Institute, Securities Investor’s Association of Singapore, Singapore’s National Arts Council, the National University of Singapore, Cannon, Bumble, Tableau, National Gallery Singapore and Singapore Deep Tech Alliance.

Michelle has an extensive portfolio, is comfortable leading discussions on any topic and specialises in lively conversations related to business, AI, innovation, diversity and climate issues. She has earned a CFA Institute Certificate in ESG Investing and her daily finance talk show peaked at Number 1 on the Apple podcast charts.

Michelle has won many awards for her work, most recently as part of the Straits Times coverage of Singapore ’s last General Elections where she helmed the live TV commentary desk. Her insightful conversations with newsmakers earned her two Journalist of the Year nominations in Singapore and a double nomination at the Asia-Pacific wide Women Empowerment Journalism Awards. Apart from anchoring a “live” business show from 9 am weekdays, Michelle leads Masterclasses with the Straits Times and trains C-suite leaders on the art of presentation and influence.
