Jo Fairley
Biography
Jo Fairley is an organic chocolate dynamo and part of the co-founding team behind Green & Black’s. From the springboard of her success as the youngest-ever magazine editor in the UK, she sought to bring sustainable chocolate to the globe. Their mission as responsibly sourced chocolatiers has garnered a number of awards including the Worldaware Business Award and the first Fairtrade mark ever offered in the UK. In 2005, Cadbury PLC bought the company for an estimated £20m.
Jo tells her audiences a relatable yet aspirational story of growing her business from the bedroom to the FTSE 100. And her exposure across sustainability, business ethics, marketing, CSR, branding and more is engaging for all professional audiences. She’s also a prolific author with 25 titles including Sweet Dreams: The Story of Green & Black’s and regularly contributes commentary and opinion to media outlets as a business expert.
