Susie Dent is the UK’s best-known word expert. A writer, broadcaster and leading authority on the English language, she has spent more than 30 years decoding the evolution of words and how they influence the way we think, lead and connect.

A long-time resident of Dictionary Corner on Channel 4’s Countdown and 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown, Susie is also the author of many books on language, including Word Perfect, Dent’s Modern Tribes and her Sunday Times bestselling novel, Guilty by Definition.
