Sir Mo Farah is one of the greatest runners of all time and achieved such success in athletics he was knighted by The Queen. With no fewer than ten global gold medals including four at the Olympics, Mo is the most successful British track athlete in modern Olympic history.

His journey to the pinnacle of sport makes Mo an incredible motivational speaker. Resilience runs through his veins and it takes an extraordinary winning mentality to not just win — but keep on winning, time after time.

Mo has spoken about thriving in a high-pressure industry and coping with the added pressure of being a role model.

Whether it’s structure, nutrition, sleep or fitness Mo speaks passionately and with great influence about the building blocks of his own success story and how others can learn from them.

But even the world’s greatest athletes can face challenging times. Mo revealed mental health issues and the importance of connecting with people to simply talk and tackle anxiety.

He said doing something physical can help the conversation flow and is often easier to arrange a run than a trip to the pub.

Mo is a much-sought after celebrity and headed to the jungle for ITV’s I’m A Celebrity where he was watched each night by a TV audience of 6 million.

A BBC documentary followed Mo as he investigated his past, reuniting with his Somali family and the woman who raised him after he escaped domestic servitude. The programme received critical acclaim. He launched the Mo Farah Foundation after a trip to Somalia and won £250,000 for his foundation after appearing on ITV’s The Cube.

Mo is also a global ambassador for Marathon Kids. Speaking of his new role, Farah said, “I love running, and it’s given me and my family so much. As a dad, I know how important it is for my children to be active, and I’m honoured to have the chance to inspire kids to run with Marathon Kids.”
