Biography
Heather Small achieved global fame for huge anthems such as ‘Proud’ and ‘Moving on Up’ – songs which are loved now more than ever.
Heather sold more than ten million albums worldwide in the early days of her career with M People including hits ‘One Night in Heaven’ and ‘Search for the Hero’.
And she went on to even greater success as a solo artist as her signature song ‘Proud’ was adopted as the feel-good tune for the British Olympic team.
Oprah Winfrey loved it too and used ‘Proud’ as the theme to reflect her glittering career.
Heather has also rubbed shoulders with a sting of A-list talent including Tom Jones and Lou Reed in the recording of ‘Perfect Day’ for Children In Need which shot straight to the top of the chart.
And her talents extend beyond the recording studio. Heather dazzled viewers on the BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing as she joined the celebrity line-up.
On tour Heather has performed alongside stars including Anastacia and Lulu and has picked up award after award for her incredible contribution to music.
