Biography

Sophie Ellis-Bextor burst into mainstream music in the early 2000s and has been one of music’s most-loved stars ever since. Her hugely successful collaboration with Italian DJ Spiller propelled Groovejet (If This Ain’t Love) to the top of the chart at the start of the millennium.

And her string of awards demonstrates how fans simply can’t get enough of her music. So just imagine the energy and excitement she could brig to your event.
Her debut solo studio album, Read My Lips, went double platinum and sold 1.5 million copies worldwide.

One of its singles Murder on the Dancefloor shot back into the charts years later after becoming the anthem of the black comedy thriller film Saltburn.

Sophie’s music has such wide appeal thanks to its influences from pop, dance, nu-disco and electronic music. And she’s teamed up with other big names including George Michael during a UK tour and as well as collaborating with Armin van Buuren.
