Richard Davies is a news presenter on Australia’s ABC News 24, helping to launch the channel in 2010. He now splits his time between Sydney and London and appears regularly on Arise News.

Richard has extensive experience as a senior international news producer and also a rolling news presenter. He has worked for ITN, Al Jazeera English, CNN and Russia Today.

Richard began his career with the Australian Broadcasting Corporation in 1996, working as a reporter and presenter in Adelaide and Tasmania.

He moved to London in 2001, gaining valuable international news experience during rolling coverage of events including September 11, the Iraq War and London bombings.
