Manuela Saragosa is Executive Producer of Financial Times’ podcasts, overseeing a stable of shows including Political Fix, the FT’s Westminster podcast, and Tech Tonic, the paper’s technology podcast.

For the FT, she has executive-produced award-winning podcast series on US-China tech rivalry, climate tech, quantum computing and artificial intelligence, as well as hosting and reporting a series about sustainable investing for the FT’s Behind The Money podcast.

In a career spanning over two decades, she has worked as the FT’s Indonesia correspondent, reported from locations around the world for both BBC TV and radio and chaired debates at Chatham House and in the BBC’s Radio Theatre at New Broadcasting House. Prior to joining the FT, Manuela presented Business Daily, the flagship business show on the BBC World Service, as well as a wide range of other programmes across BBC outlets, and worked as the BBC’s EU business correspondent in Brussels. She is trilingual, with Dutch and Italian as her second languages.
