Formed in the 1970s and in huge demand today the world can’t get enough of Madness, a band which made its name with a distinctive sound and hugely charismatic lead singer Suggs.

Their incredible catalogue of music contains hit after hit including Baggy Trousers, One Step Beyond and House of Fun.

And decade after decade, Madness keep winning awards. From Ivor Novello to the Mojo Hall Of Fame, it’s almost hard to keep up with the band’s relentless success.

Once called the “artist’s artist” Madness had an incredible 16 singles in the UK top ten including the number one single House of Fun. They also cracked America with Our House reaching the top ten on the Billboard chart.

And they’re just as brilliant live. Madness still perform to big crowds at concerts across the UK and have played the prestigious Pyramid Stage at Glastonbury.

Millions saw Madness perform in one of the BBC’s most watched shows of the year on New Year’s Eve through to New Year’s Day at Madness Rocks Big Ben Live.
