Kathryn Parsons is the founder and CEO of Decoded, a world-leader in technology education, delivering digital literacy and skills training for clients spanning the Global 2000. Kathryn is on a mission to put the knowledge, tools and skills of the future in people’s hands, so that they can thrive in an increasingly technology-driven world. Decoded has established itself as one of the world’s preeminent technology educators for enterprise and government.

Described as an “economic force”, Kathryn has sat on the board of The UK Department for Business and advisory boards to Number Ten Downing Street, HM Treasury, The London Mayor and Royal United Services Institute.

In 2014, she campaigned successfully for coding to be introduced on the UK National Curriculum, making it one of the first countries to do so and introducing millions of children to computational thinking in the classroom. In recognition of her achievements, The Queen awarded Kathryn an MBE for services to education.  She has also been named in the FT’s Top 30 Women in Tech, British Airways Top 100 Britons, Global Impact Entrepreneur of The Year, The Veuve Clicquot New Generation Business Women of the Year and entered the Computer Weekly Hall of Fame.

Kathryn has keynoted for clients such as JPMorgan, Adobe, Salesforce, SAP, Meta, Google, Kering, Christie’s, Ministry of Defence and more. She is a hugely popular speaker on the topics of artificial intelligence, workplace culture and lifelong learning.  Kathryn’s motivational talks have inspired tens of thousands to overcome their fears and embrace the digital world.

Kathryn now lives in The Bay Area, California with her husband and son, frequently reporting back on innovations in AI and emerging trends in Silicon Valley for The Times of London.
