Emeka Okorocha
Doctor Emeka Okorocha, a Nigerian Prince, is an international media medic, author and frontline NHS doctor, working in Accident and Emergency, in hospitals across East London and Kent.
The tall 6’6”, award-winning doctor, first appeared on our TV screens on the BBC’s Junior Doctors series, and is now a regular guest on TV and radio across the Globe, as well as writing for, and featuring in, national and international press and magazine publications.
Dr Emeka works with BBC Education and BBC Bitesize on entertaining and educational content and he is a presenter on CBBC shows, such as What’s In My Bag.
The fun-loving and high-energy doctor, with a passion for exercise and fitness, has been named as one of the UK’s top ten TikTok educators and fronted a nationwide campaign, It Starts on TikTok, appearing on billboards across the country.
Doctor Emeka who has his very own unique, relatable and vibrant style, works with the NHS and the Government on a variety of health campaigns and is also well-known, for producing a variety of inspiring, educational and entertaining social media videos on physical and mental health, well-being and mythbusting, which inspired him to write “Your Health in Your Hands” – his first ever book.
He is a passionate spokesperson on Black Lives Matter and his very poignant video, appealing to people to love him in his hoodie as well as in his scrubs, went viral and captured world-wide attention.
Dr. Emeka’s mantra is ‘Looking Good Is Feeling Good’ and he works with many fashion, fitness and health brands.
