Ayo is a trained engineer working for the Environment Agency but there are many more strings to her bow. Ayo has been presenting for BBC Reel and is about to start working as the Science Presenter for BBC Bitesize. Her expertise in STEM subjects has made her hugely popular as a keynote speaker covering the environment, sustainability, technology and science. As industrial and educational organisations seek to encourage more women in technology and other STEM subjects, Ayo has been very popular as an inspirational speaker and motivational speaker, even sharing the stage recently with the physicist Brian Cox.
Ayo is a STEM ambassador and mentor. She was selected as one of Professor Lord Robert Mair’s Future Leaders when he was President of the ICE. Ayo was also nominated for the Top 50 Women in Engineering under 35 initiative run by The Telegraph in partnership with The Women’s Engineering Society.
Ayo has proved to be one of Riva Media’s most popular Diversity and Inclusion Speakers and we’ve received glowing tributes for her work as an inspirational speaker for young people.
“Thank you so much, Ayo and organisers! I feel so inspired now”

Ayo possesses a varied and interesting hinterland. She was a beauty queen, reaching the finals for Miss Galaxy England, Miss Earth and Miss Great Britain. She is a councillor for Caversham in the borough of Reading and has a passion for supporting great causes and raising funds for a number of charities.
It’s worth recapping a little more of Ayo’s background. She was born in Kent, lived in Nigeria, raised in Eastbourne and is very much a world traveller. Mixing cultures, inspirations and influences, Ayo is a perfect diversity and inclusion keynote speaker.
Ayo was a Graduate Civil Engineer on the Environment Agency’s training scheme and brings huge credibility as a keynote speaker on STEM subjects. She undertook internal and external placements to support her development, enabling her to complete her ICE training agreement in two-and-half years and to achieve CEng in three years.
Ayo’s work at the Environment Agency has included Flood and Coastal Risk Management and Water Resources projects. She brings huge credibility as an Environment, Circular Economy and Sustainability Speaker.
Ayo is enthusiastic and dedicated to chasing all her passions, making her an ideal inspirational and motivational speaker. Ayo truly believes:
“if your dreams don’t scare you, they are not BIG enough.”
