Biography
Harriet Meyer helps teams use AI wisely, without sacrificing the trust and judgement their work depends on.
She spent more than 20 years as an award-winning national financial journalist, writing for The Telegraph, The Times, The Guardian, The Observer and the BBC, where one wrong word can land you in front of a regulator. That background shapes everything she does with AI: a sharp eye for accuracy, a healthy scepticism of hype and a clear sense of what audiences will and won’t trust. She also wrote The Observer‘s Human Intelligence series on AI.
In 2024 she founded AI for Media and has since trained more than 1,000 professionals across 40+ teams, from national newsrooms and publishers to agencies and financial services firms. Clients include FT Specialist, Immediate Media, the RHS, AXA XL, Lloyds and Royal London.
In 2025 LinkedIn News Europe named her one of 12 AI voices to follow in Europe. She chaired the NextGen stage at The AI Summit London 2026 and has spoken for the British Society of Magazine Editors, The Bookseller Marketing and Publicity Conference, PRmoment, CopyCon and the Digital PR Summit. She will deliver a keynote at MediaTech Festival in Odense in 2027.
Her talks are practical, candid and highly engaging, built on real case studies rather than futurology. Harriet is also available for panels, chairing and moderating, and hands-on masterclasses.
