Biography
Emily McCarthy is a dynamic Gen-Z presenter, interviewer and live host working across sport, fashion, beauty and entertainment. Known for her energetic and authentic presenting style, Emily brings a fresh, relatable voice to live events, branded content and digital platforms.
Emily has presented for a range of leading global brands and platforms, interviewing athletes, models, creatives and industry figures across live and digital formats. Her recent work includes presenting live at Miami Swim Week with Oh Polly, getting behind-the-scenes access to one of the world’s biggest swimwear events, as well as presenting live at Baller League Series 2 with Philips, where she hosted pre- and post-match interviews for the TikTok audience.
Her work spans both sport and fashion, with experience across major events including presenting live from Miami Swim Week, recently filming an endurance series in the US, where she presented and hosted content around a relay race travelling from San Diego to Los Angeles. She has also hosted 21 hours of live content from Tomorrowland for Grown Alchemist, bringing her live presenting experience into the world of beauty, music and culture.
Alongside live presenting, Emily works as a content creator and UGC presenter, creating engaging, social-first content for brands including L’Oréal Paris, Garnier, Maybelline, NYX, e.l.f., JBL, Philips and Crocs. Her understanding of Gen-Z audiences and social platforms allows her to create content that feels natural, entertaining and genuinely native to the platform.
Emily is passionate about forging an unconventional path in the media industry, using her Gen-Z perspective to challenge traditional routes into presenting and build a career through social media. Having grown her career through digital platforms, she understands how to create content that connects with GEN-Z audiences. Her journey reflects her belief that social media can be a powerful platform for creating opportunities, building communities and redefining what a career in media can look like.
