Jennifer Zhu Scott
Named as one of Fortune’s most influential businesswomen, few entrepreneurs understand the rapidly evolving world of AI and Deep Tech more than Jennifer Zhu Scott.
Jennifer founded firm IN. Capital which invests in tech companies and is a sought-after expert both on TV and in front of invited audiences, including the multi-million viewed Ted Talk where she spoke about empowering consumers to make money out of their own data.
The entrepreneur has held a string of high-profile positions influencing the future direction of technology, including advising the World Economic Forum on their Data Policy Council, working with the China Council and the Future of Blockchain Council – as well as a board trustee of Web Science Trust.
Addressing a global audience on Bloomberg’s breakfast programme she spoke about the “fragile” balance between governing the safety of tech and the speed of its development: “I think AI is well on the way to become a technology for every aspect of our lives,” she explained.
And she has spoken about how every company can become an AI company using tech to propel productivity to the next level.
An expert in applied mathematics and computer science Jennifer was at the forefront of the blockchain revolution which helps power Bitcoin. She also demonstrated her understanding of financial tech by setting up Radian Partners – an investment firm focusing on direct investment in deep tech and renewable energy.
Few speakers can match Jennifer’s extraordinary depth of knowledge on Artificial Intelligence, FinTech, China macroeconomics and sustainable investment.
Jennifer even spoke at Davos when she debated against Nobel Prize winner Prof Robert Shiller and Swedish Central Bank Deputy Governor Cecilia Skingsley on Crypto Assets.
The tech expert is the author of White Papers by the World Economic Forum on topics such as business technology adoptions, Blockchain and the Token Economy.
And she’s even caught the eye of TV Producers at HBO as a consultant on American comedy series Silicon Valley.
