Jane is a BBC sports news presenter, regularly appearing on BBC Breakfast, the Six and Ten o’clock news. She followed the England Lionesses to victory at the Women’s Euros in Switzerland in 2025, and was in Australia for the Women’s World Cup, covering Ireland and England.

An experienced correspondent in the men’s game, Jane also followed Scotland in Germany for the men’s Euros.  She has extensively covered other sports while at the BBC, including golf and athletics.

Jane was previously a presenter for Sky Sports News where she reported and presented on deadline days. She also helped create, then fronted “Sportswomen”, the first tv programme in Britain to exclusively cover Women’s Sport.

Jane has been the face of the Scottish Women’s Football awards since 2018 and her exuberant personality, coupled with twenty years of experience makes her the perfect choice to host your event.

Her background in news, from covering Hillary Clinton during the Primaries to reporting from Hurricane Katrina means Jane is very well equipped with the journalistic skills to moderate any debate.

Outside of work, Jane is a keen hockey player, plays golf and boxes.
