Hanah Darley
Hanah-Marie Darley is an internationally recognised expert at the intersection of artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and human behaviour. With over a decade of experience spanning government intelligence, threat analysis, and applied psychology, she brings a uniquely human-centered perspective to AI governance and cyber resilience.
Currently leading AI and product strategy at an early-stage venture, Hanah helps enterprises securely and responsibly adopt agentic AI systems. Her work empowers IT, Risk, and Security leaders to maintain clarity and control over increasingly autonomous technologies, ensuring innovation doesn’t outpace oversight.
Prior to this, Hanah served as Director of Security & AI Strategy at Darktrace, where she played a pivotal role in the Strategy, Research & Development, and Analysis teams. She also led the company’s threat research division, overseeing flagship reports and guiding global organisations through the evolving threat landscape with strategic AI applications.
Hanah’s academic foundation – a bachelor’s in international politics and a master’s in psychology – shapes her approach to designing systems that anticipate not just technical risk, but human and behavioural vulnerabilities. Her background includes high-pressure government intelligence analysis roles, where she developed deep expertise in geopolitical risk and critical decision-making under uncertainty.
