Maggie Lake
Maggie Lake is a veteran journalist with over two decades of experience covering global finance, business, technology, and international affairs. She started her career at Reuters, where she worked as a correspondent in both the New York and London bureaus covering global equities, bonds, commodities and foreign exchange.
She later joined CNN International where she spent 18 years anchoring and supervising its flagship business show reaching 373 million households worldwide. After leaving broadcast TV, Maggie served as Managing Editor at the financial media platform Real Vision, continuing her dedication to educating people on investments and new technology. She currently runs her own media consultancy firm and is launching a new podcast.
Over the course of her career, she has interviewed the world’s top CEOs, economists, politicians, and money managers. In addition to her role at Real Vision, she is a regular moderator for Foreign Policy, The United Nations, The World Bank and the leadership forum World 50.
