Rob Beckett is a brilliant stand-up comedian whose talents have catapulted him into the top echelon of television presenters and comedy game show guests. Best known as a team captain on E4’s Eight Out of 10 Cats, the narrator of Celebs Go Dating and host of the BBC Saturday night show All Together Now, Rob brings profile, star quality, laughter and an unforgettable night for your audience, as an Event Host, After Dinner Speaker or Awards Host,
Born in 1986 in Mottingham, his stories about life in working-class South East London are sharp, authentic and very funny. After school in Chislehurst, he went to university in Canterbury to study Tourism Management, but it soon became clear Rob’s future lay in his knack for making people laugh. In 2009 Rob took the plunge into stand-up and since then it’s been a steep rise up the comedy ranks – Best Newcomer nomination at the Adelaide Fringe in 2011, his own show at the Edinburgh Fringe in 2012 and just a year later, co-host of ITV2’s spin-off show I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here NOW!
Rob has the same happy-go-lucky charm in his live appearances which have made him a big favourite with the audiences of shows like Live At The Apollo or Michael McIntyre’s Big Show. Rob appears on Mock the Week, has presented for Absolute Radio, while April 2020 saw the launch of the hit podcast Lockdown Parenting Hell, which he presents with fellow comedian Josh Widdicombe, interviewing celebrity parents.
Rob Beckett’s streetwise comedy skills are matched by a likeable persona that make him the perfect Event Host, After Dinner Speaker and Awards Host.
