Laura Kuenssberg has had a ringside seat reporting on the biggest political moments in British political history.

She presents the BBC’s flagship political programme Sunday with Laura Kuenssberg interviewing Britain’s most influential politicians.

As one of the corporation’s most trusted and respected journalists Laura’s agenda-setting interviews made her a household name regularly watched by millions.

At the start of a career spanning two decades Laura scooped a prestigious RTS award as Home Affairs Correspondent for BBC North East.

She was soon appointed as the BBC’s Chief Political Correspondent bringing expert analysis and original journalism to news bulletins on BBC One, the BBC News Channel and Daily Politics on BBC Two.

Laura took up the newly-created role of Business Editor after switching to ITV News and made regular appearances on the channel’s flagship current affairs programme Tonight.

A switch back to the BBC came with the senior job of Chief Political Correspondent and Presenter of Newsnight.

She then became the BBC’s first Political Editor and played a pivotal role in the broadcaster’s General Election coverage.

Laura has presented documentaries for the BBC on issues including Brexit and the turmoil which has often engulfed Downing Street.

Her podcasts, including Brexitcast, have been listened to around the world and Laura has been named as one of the top 20 most influential Londoners by the Evening Standard.
