Phil Gayle is an experienced and popular presenter, voice artist, speaker, moderator and event host with a track record in TV and radio stretching back over 30 years. A News Anchor for Germany’s international broadcaster Deutsche Welle, Phil is best-known as the Presenter of Big Breakfast News on Channel 4 and remains part of the award-winning team behind the current incarnation of the show.
Phil first made his name on Big Breakfast in the late 1990s, before going on to feature in major BBC and ITV Shows, including Crimewatch, That’s Esther and The Week. He started out in commercial radio before moving to the BBC, featuring on Radio 4’s Loose Ends, Radio 5 Live, Radio 2 and Radio Oxford. Phil is also an established voiceover artist and is known globally for his in-flight announcements on easyJet.
Phil’s talents extend to working as a public speaker, emcee, moderator and event host work. He hosted the United Nations Climate Change Conference and his specialist areas include climate change, the environment, diversity, international affairs, Brexit, media and digital disruption.
